From Fashion to Thai Wedding Ceremony: The Story of Pinder
“From studying biochemistry to becoming a licensed tour guide, and then a fashion designer—my path to founding Pinder Weddings wasn’t traditional. But every step brought me closer to creating magical Thai wedding ceremonies for couples around the world.”

The Beginning of a Dream at 23
A Fashion Dream That Started in BangkokIn 2013, I fell in love with fashion. At the time, I worked at SUDA, a well-known Bangkok fashion store. Every day, I touched beautiful fabrics, styled elegant pieces, and observed how clothing could transform someone. That’s when I realized—I didn't just love clothes. I loved the structure and curves of the dress, the way fashion told a story.
And I began to dream:“One day, when tourists come to Thailand, they should wear and buy my clothes.”
That dream became my mission. On May 13, 2014, I launched my first fashion collection. It was a blend of modern style and Thai inspiration—crafted for women who loved both elegance and culture. That moment marked the beginning of my journey into fashion entrepreneurship.

At just 23 years old, I stepped into the world of fashion with a big dream—to create something beautiful. I studied sewing and high-fashion design, crafting my very first collection with precision and passion. That early collection, filled with intricate details and modern lines, reflected my love for artistry and passion.

But I never imagined that my path would eventually lead me to transform not just clothing—but people’s most meaningful moments.
From Tour Guide to Thai Culture Curator
Alongside fashion, I also worked as a tour guide. Every day, I watched travelers from around the world fall in love with Thai culture—our temples, traditions, and textiles. Then one day, I saw a gap that no one else had filled:What if tourists could wear Thai costumes and be part of our heritage, even for a few hours?
So I created my first service: Thai costume rentals with guided photoshoot tours. It wasn’t just a hit—it boomed. Hundreds of visitors lined up to wear traditional outfits and capture memories in iconic Thai locations.
When COVID Hit – And the Market Shifted
Then the world stopped.COVID-19 shut down tourism, and like many, I paused to reflect. When Thailand reopened, I noticed something: more competitors had entered the market, offering similar photoshoot experiences at lower prices.
Rather than fight in a price war, I made a decision:Pinder must become premium.I wanted to create something timeless—not just trendy. So I shifted focus to what truly matters: love, culture, and Thai wedding ceremony.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) About Thai Wedding Ceremony with Pinder
1. What is a traditional Thai wedding ceremony?
A traditional Thai wedding ceremony typically includes Buddhist blessings by monks, water pouring rituals (Rod Nam Sang), the Khan Maak procession, and symbolic acts such as tying holy strings around the couple’s wrists. At Pinder Weddings, we blend these authentic rituals with personalized planning to create a spiritual and memorable experience.
2. Do I need to be Buddhist to have a Thai wedding ceremony?
No. Thai wedding ceremonies are open to people of all religions and backgrounds. Many international couples choose a Buddhist blessing or Thai cultural wedding to honor the beauty of Thai tradition, even if they are not Buddhist.
3. Can foreigners legally marry in Thailand with Pinder Weddings?
Our ceremonies are symbolic and spiritual, not legal. However, we can guide you through the steps to get legally married in Thailand before or after the ceremony, or you can complete the legal process in your home country.
4. What is included in a Thai wedding package from Pinder Weddings?
Our full-service Thai wedding packages can include:
Traditional temple venue with monk blessings

5. Where are your Thai wedding ceremonies held?
We work with authentic temples in Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Phuket, and other cultural locations across Thailand. We also offer destination Thai wedding ceremonies abroad, including in Europe.
6. How far in advance should we book?
We recommend booking at least 1–3 months in advance to secure your preferred temple, date, and attire. However, for last-minute bookings, we do our best to accommodate based on availability.
7. Is the ceremony private or shared with others?
Your Thai wedding ceremony is fully private—tailored exclusively for you and your partner (and guests, if any). We never combine multiple couples in a single ceremony.
8. Can we combine the wedding with a honeymoon trip?
Absolutely! We specialize in creating honeymoon packages around Thailand, including romantic experiences, cultural activities, and nature escapes—all organized seamlessly for you.
9. Do you offer custom-made Thai wedding dresses?
Yes. As a fashion designer, I create bespoke Thai wedding dresses using handwoven Thai silk and authentic embroidery. You can also rent premium wedding attire from our exclusive collection.
